Hard Time Finding Fun Stuff To Do With the Kids? Check Out Macaroni Kid.
When looking to find your family fun, the term “Macaroni Kid” has become a household name in Lodi. With weekly e-newsletters hitting inboxes every Wednesday morning, over 10,000 local parents are diving in to find out what’s going on in and around our community through this hyperlocal website. With all the event listings, activities, products and places for moms, kids and families in one spot, Macaroni Kid Lodi is the go-to site to find your family fun! One local mom, Jacquelynne Shinn, exclaimed, ”Macaroni Kid is everywhere! All of my friends look there first to find out what's going on in our community."
Local publisher, Mary Campbell, grew up in Lodi and is now raising her family here. Recognizing the need to get this kind of information in the hands of families, Campbell started up Macaroni Kid a little over three years ago in Lodi. “I love being the Lodi Macaroni Kid Publisher and connecting families to our community!” says Mary. “It brings me so much joy when a mom tells me that went to Ginger Bugs because she saw it listed in my email and was able to connect and make new mom friends. I love when families post photos from activities and say thanks for telling them about it! My goal is to help families find fun together and be a resource for moms and dads as we all navigate this crazy thing called parenthood.”
Enriching communities and empowering parents is the driving force behind Macaroni Kid. From events like the Candy Cane Hunt at the WOW Museum, Trunk or Treat, Baby Brunch at Ginger Bugs and Kindness Rock Painting for Love Lodi, Macaroni Kid Lodi partners with trusted businesses and brands that support families and fun.
Last year, Campbell put on a ponytail drive to show support for a local family whose four-year-old daughter was going through cancer treatments. Over 120 men, women and children selflessly cut their ponytails and donated them to Pantene Beautiful Lengths through this Macaroni Kid Act of Kindness event!
